  1. Add the virtual background function

    • Added a function to blur the background of the video received from the camera.
    • Added a function to replace the background with an image set by the user.
    • Supported OS: Android, iOS, macOS
      • Support for Windows and WebPlanetKit will be available in the future.
  2. Modify control of the mirroring function

    • The mirroring function does not affect the transmitted video itself and only flips the video horizontally when rendering.
    • Modified control methods of the mirroring function for clearer functionality.
      • You can set MIRRORED, UNMIRRORED, or AUTO on the rendering view object.
      • If set to MIRRORED, mirroring is always applied. Especially for mobile devices, mirroring is applied for both front and rear cameras.
      • When set to AUTO, the behavior is as follows:
        • Windows/macOS
          • Local user's video: Mirrored
          • Remote user's video: Not mirrored
        • iOS/Android
          • Local user's video
            • When using the front camera: Mirrored
            • When using the rear camera: Not mirrored
          • Remote user's video: Not mirrored
  3. Change the end tone playback conditions

    • You can configure the end tone in the application.
    • PlanetKit will play the configured end tone when the call ends after a successful call connection.
    • Starting with PlanetKit 5.4, the call end tone will be played in all scenarios except when the call is ended by the user, ensuring a consistent user experience across all platforms.
      • Up to PlanetKit 5.3, the criteria for playing the end tone varied by platform.
